"I grew up in Lesotho in Southern Africa and some of my clay work has influences stretching back to that time. I then moved to London and developed a few more concepts. After jointly running a studio for a local community in East London after the council run outfit closed down for a couple of years, I moved to Scotland to explore my roots.
"I very happily delved into the past to create my sculptural Pictish Animals, which are based on the carved standing stones all over Scotland and primitive african influences. My Ogham pots often mirror pot styles used by the ancient Celts.
As an artist I take great pleasure in creating my sunset wares, which are hand thrown and based on Scottish nature and have interestingly proven to be highly sought after."
