Jane Duckfield

Jane is a professional artist working from her studio in rural North East Fife. Brought up in Yorkshire, she studied in Leeds and Dundee, but soon fell in love with the diverse landscapes of Scotland, which she has painted for many years.

Jane's strong use of texture, pattern and colour follows the Scottish Colourist tradition, and she is represented in a number of prominent galleries north of the border.

Larger works in acrylic often feature cottages and crofts, but Jane's smaller paintings in mixed media are also of interest, little gems of colour, interpreting the west coast beaches and sea.
