Sally Purdy

Sally Purdy studied at Manchester and Birmingham, has lived in Pembrokeshire and has recently moved to the Black Isle.

"I first discovered the potency of making art as a young teenager. Creating images in mixed media has given me something enormously rich and flexible to focus on. Currently I am making mosaics and exploring the use of recycled and found materials

" I am a state registered art therapist with considerable experience working with a wide range of clients of all ages in the fields of mental health and learning disability. In recent years I have enjoyed the opportunity of going back to my roots as a community artist, facilitating art activities and workshops with a variety of client groups."

Sally often works to commission making mosaics of various kinds, both interior and exterior.
